The life blood of our existence comes from the residential consumer purchasing shutters for their home. This is what keeps our factory working day in and day out. Occasionally, over our history we have been fortunate to be involved in many commercial jobs of interest that we would like to share with you.

FOUR SEASONS RESORT Hialalai at historic ka` upulehu

The Four Seasons Resort at Hualalai, Hawaii needed some solid mahogany fixed and movable louvered doors and shutters in 1996. We manufactured over 1000 panels that can be found throughout their common areas and Spa locker rooms.

These stain grade doors and shutters ranged in thickness from 3/4 inches thick on their locker room doors to 2 1/4 thick passage way doors in the common areas.

HOTEL HEALDSBURG

The Healdsburg Hotel in California's Wine country is a recent project that wanted that old country ambiance in their rooms. For this project they selected Cedar Shutters with a clear lacquer finish. This clear finish accents the various color hues from the Cedar to achieve that old world feeling. The next time you are in the Wine Country, be sure to stay at the Healdsburg Hotel.

ARGONAUT HOTEL

The Argonaut Hotel is housed in the historic Haslett Warehouse by Fisherman's Wharf. It Offers some of the most picturesque accommodations in San Francisco. The painted plantation shutters in the 252 guestrooms give the final accent to the truly stunning room décor. This installation illustrates how shutters can fit into any design scheme, even a historic 1907 warehouse along the San Francisco Water front.

MOHONK MOUNTAIN HOUSE

The Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, New York continually upgrades their guest rooms. This family owned Victorian Castle was built in 1869 and we are proud to be a part of their continuing program of upgrades as they replace old shutters made many years ago with ours. This is the perfect showcase for our traditional 1 1/4 louvered Basswood shutter in a traditional 3/4 thick stile and rail. Custom stained to match the original woodwork, this job illustrates how custom stained basswood can fit into any décor and it is truly the perfect setting for traditional Shutters.
